Join us for a hands-on workshop on the latest adhesive techniques in restorative dentistry with Dr. Sungwon Han.
This two-day lecture and hands-on program will explore advanced adhesive techniques in both direct and indirect restorative dentistry. Through evidence-based dentistry, Dr. Han strives to create a sound foundation for all his restorations and replicate natural with restorative materials.Participants will learn the scientifically supported adhesive techniques but most importantly, a system to implement and transition their knowledge into real-life practice. This program will help rejuvenate your passion for restorative dentistry – even the dreaded class 2 restorations.
Course Objectives:
- Understand the science behind adhesive dentistry and learn the ‘WHY’ for each step of the protocol
- Learn how to achieve efficient and complete rubber dam isolation
Master the use of composite resin to recreate nature anterior and posterior restorations - Understand the importance of tooth structure conservation and the rationale behind non-retentive partial/full coverage restorations

Speaker Bio:

Dr. Han has a keen interest in minimally invasive and advanced adhesive techniques utilizing the latest in CAD-CAM technology to recreate nature in restorative dentistry. This includes a mastery in rubber dam isolation to achieve spectacular long lasting results. As the restorative lead at udiscovr, Dr Han is passionate about sharing these techniques with his peers and see their practices thrive. Dr Han is a graduate from the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Detroit. Prior to his dental training, Dr Han completed a Masters Degree in Chemical Sciences and has authored and co-authored several peer reviewed publications. He maintains a private practice in Sudbury, Ontario.
