COLLABORATION WITH STYLEITALIANO

LM-Arte instrument series has been developed in collaboration with StyleItaliano, a group of skilled dentists who share our passion for improving dentistry.

The StyleItaliano movement emerged from a simple idea of two friends - Dr. Walter Devoto and Dr. Angelo Putignano. The renowned experts in conservative and esthetic dentistry had noticed that although materials suitable for creating beautiful direct restorations were available, appropriate instruments for employing these successfully were lacking. With LM-Dental’s dedication to manufacturing excellence the unique concept of LM-Arte instruments was developed, and it has been a breakthrough in esthetic dentistry.

LM-ARTE STARTER SET

The LM-Arte Starter Set, recommended by Dr. Sunny Virdi, MB, contains a variety of unique and well thought-out tips designed to elevate your aesthetic work.

What Dr. Virdi has to say about his favourite go-to instruments:

  • LM-Arte Condensa - Unique curvature and shape to perfectly place resin into any preparation, while sculpting natural anatomy
  • LM-Arte Modella - Really thin and versatile spatula
  • LM-Arte Fissura - So fine and curved - it makes the details more clear. The unique shape provides better access
  • LM-Arte Misura - Calibrates the enamel/dentin thickness which is very difficult to guess
  • LM-Arte Posterior Misura - Gives me the perfect marginal ridge each time, for less occlusal adjustments after finishing

Anterior Misura
  • A unique instrument for horizontal and vertical measuring of thicknesses of composite layers on the anterior restorations.
  • After the layering but before the polymerization of the dentine composite, the thinner, conical shaped tip is placed on the natural tooth enamel. This way the unpolymerized composite remaining under the conical tip will be gently modeled, leaving an optimal space (from 0,5 to 0,7 mm) for enamel composite layer.
  • The thicker, short tip of the Misura is placed horizontally on the margin of the prepared cavity so that the edge of the tip remains on the original enamel. This determines the right amount of transparent composite to apply on the finishing line.
Applica
  • A very thin and flexible spatula is designed for transporting and aesthetic modeling the composite.
  • The flexible working end sculpts gently and precisely composite layers imitating the natural shapes of the tooth.
  • The thin tip of the LM-Arte Applica enables the modeling in narrow spaces or against the matrix band.
Applica Twist
  • Especially fine, flexible and narrow spatula for composite modeling.
  • With the LM-Arte Applica Twist it is very easy to model in the approximal spaces and marginal ridges in matrix.
  • Its bended tips allow reaching to very difficult areas without complicating unnecessarily the work position of the hand.
Condensa
  • The angulated shanks of the instrument enable unlimited access to all cavities.
  • LM-Arte Condensa has both a thick and a thin tip which may be used in cavities of different sizes, in both anterior and posterior areas.
  • The rounded working end enables a delicate condensation of composite without any risk of sticking.
Cusp Misura
  • Unique instrument for estimating cusp thickness and height for evaluating the need for cusp preparation when performing adhesive restorations.
  • Ideal for evaluating the strength of the natural tooth structure and choosing the restorative technique to be used.
  • If the forked instrument tip penetrates up to its marks, the tooth structure is too weak to withhold occlusal forces with a direct restoration, and other clinical options must be considered.
Eccesso
  • An instrument designed for the removal of composite and bonding residue.
  • The special angulated working ends of the Eccesso are ideal for excess removal from cervical anterior and interproximal molar areas.
  • This fine but solid instrument is characterized by an optimized length, thickness and width of the blade.
Fissura
  • A modeling instrument with extremely sharp pointed tips.
  • The conical tip is perfect for sculpting, with only one instrument, the anatomy of occlusal area of the posterior teeth.
  • The fine, probe shaped tip is optimal for modeling fissures and mamelons as well as for layering characterization composites and sealants.
  • The flexibility of the LM-Arte Fissura enables the gentle probing possible excess bonding resins on the tooth surfaces.
Modella
  • Especially fine and wide spatula for composite modeling.
  • Suits especially for the large tooth surfaces such as buccal surfaces of the incisors.
  • The wide spatula end flattens effectively the composite.
  • The flexibility, delicacy and sharpness of the tip helps to create precise, aesthetic details.
  • The spatula works well for applying the composite from a syringe.
Posterior Misura
  • Posterior version of the popular Misura instrument.
  • Designed for horizontal and vertical measuring of  thickness of composite layers on posterior restorations.
  • The fork shaped tip of the instrument allows measuring and modeling of the composite wall with the presence of a matrix.
Replica Anterior
  • LM-Arte Replica Anterior is a revolutionary instrument for anterior composite restorations combining simplicity and unique design. The instrument boosts the entire workflow starting from precise adaptation, then pre-forming the surface anatomy and shape, and finally minimizing the finishing process. It is excellent for adaptation, shaping, and replicating surface anatomy of the tooth. The instrument has two similar mirrored working ends with sharp and thin tips.
  • LM-Arte Replica Anterior is complimentary to LM-Arte Replica Posterior instrument: this instrument duo provides one instrument solution for both anterior and posterior composite restorations.
Replica Posterior
  • Clever instrument designed for simplifying occlusal modeling of posterior teeth in direct composite restorations.
  • The instrument makes occlusal modeling fast, simple and predictable. Occlusal anatomy of single tooth can be made easily guided by the buccal cusps using replica technique with this specific instrument.
  • Instrument has one concave and one convex side.
Solo Anterior
  • Achieve high-end restorations with ease and in less time using a single instrument.
  • Simplify your daily anterior restorative work and your tray.
  • One instrument for modeling, cervical contouring, cutting, splitting, separating, creating depressions, buccal profiles, and more.
Solo Posterior
  • Achieve high-end restorations with ease and in less time using a single instrument.
  • Simplify your daily posterior restorative work and your tray with only 1 instrument for probing, plugging, modeling, slope forming, excess/margin removal, and more…
