Event Details
Join internationally renowned clinician and educator Dr. Johan Figueira for an immersive two-day hands-on program designed to help dentists master the complete porcelain veneer workflow—from diagnosis and treatment planning to final adhesive cementation.
This comprehensive course combines evidence-based principles, live clinical concepts, and practical hands-on training to provide participants with the confidence and skills to deliver predictable, minimally invasive, and highly esthetic ceramic veneer restorations.
Participants will explore the use of Bonded Functional Esthetic Prototypes (B.F.E.P.) for treatment planning, smile design, patient communication, and case acceptance before progressing through every stage of ceramic laminate veneer therapy, including case selection, preparation design, material selection, digital and conventional workflows, adhesive protocols, finishing, and cementation.
The course also covers the diagnosis, preparation, and adhesive protocols for ceramic fragments and vonlays, expanding participants' understanding of conservative adhesive restorative techniques and broadening their clinical treatment options.
Special emphasis is placed on conservative preparation techniques—including minimal-preparation, guided, and no-preparation veneers—allowing clinicians to integrate modern restorative concepts into everyday practice with predictable, long-lasting results.
Learning Objectives By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Diagnose and treatment plan esthetic veneer cases.
- Utilize Bonded Functional Esthetic Prototypes (B.F.E.P.) for smile design, treatment planning, and patient communication.
- Perform predictable 6-unit laminate veneer preparations.
- Apply different veneer preparation designs for various clinical situations.
- Prepare ceramic fragments and vonlays using minimally invasive techniques.
- Master margin design, finishing protocols, and tissue management.
- Implement adhesive protocols for predictable veneer cementation.
- Improve shade selection and esthetic integration.
- Perform hands-on veneer and adhesive cementation procedures on typodont models.
